Title: Communications Coordinator What You'll Do Manage daily communications responsibilities for assigned Duke Athletics programs Produce media guides, game notes, news releases, and feature stories Create feature content and original coverage for GoDuke.com, the official website of Duke Athletics Respond to media inquiries and support proactive media outreach Staff home events and selected away competitions Supervise statistical crews and other event support personnel Participate in assigned sports' creative working groups Compile and manage statistics, including researching historical records for Athletics publications Support the broader communications staff with additional departmental needs as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time‑management skills Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and NCAA Live Stats Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience Preferred Qualifications Two years of experience in media relations, communications, public relations, or a related field supporting sports information activities Anticipated Pay Range Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $44,766.00 to USD $71,706.00.
