Production Coordinator
TubeScience, Los Angeles, CA, United States
⭐ The Role We're looking for a Production Coordinator to keep TubeScience's physical production pipeline moving — from pre‑production logistics through wrap. This is a hands‑on, operationally driven role for someone who thrives on making sure crew, equipment, product, and information are in the right place at the right time.
Production Coordinator WANTED Compensation: $28-$30/hr
Los Angeles, California, United States
What You'll Do ️ Create and distribute call sheets — contacts, arrival times, parking, safety notes, shot order, image‑capture specs — and manage logistical communications between Production Managers and freelance crew.
Coordinate stocking, ordering, and shipping of client products for productions; ship product to talent from in‑studio inventory and ensure availability for studio shoots.
Distribute talent packets (creative brief, wardrobe, location, logistics) to confirmed talent; confirm receipt and track outstanding items.
️ Help facilitate equipment reservations in Cheqroom and studio/stage reservations in Skedda — whether submitting requests directly or ensuring the right team members get their orders in on time.
Source and purchase props, wardrobe, and supplies as specified by Production Managers; log SKUs, costs, and return policies before purchase.
Manage booking inquiries and ongoing communication with freelance crew; assist with booking paperwork and timecards.
Provide physical presence on set as a point of contact for freelance crew and talent when needed — handling studio access, day‑of logistics, and crew meal orders.
Maintain WrapBook projects for accurate, timely crew payment; reconcile receipts and expenses in Ramp; flag potential overages promptly.
Maintain studio and production workspace tidiness; assist the Studio Operations Team in keeping sets and spaces booking‑ready.
For remote productions: track talent receipt of product and confirm clarity on deliverable deadlines.
Participate in post‑wrap retrospectives and help document lessons learned.
Who You Are ️ Experience in production coordination — preferably in film, digital media, or advertising.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills; you can prioritize competing tasks across multiple productions without dropping balls.
Excellent communicator who adapts easily to different working styles and team dynamics.
⚡️ Comfortable in a fast‑paced, scrappy, and evolving environment where priorities shift quickly.
Enthusiastic about engaging with workflows and teams to find the best fit for each production portfolio.
️ Familiar with on‑set safety regulations and industry standards.
Based in Los Angeles — this role requires full‑time onsite presence at TS Studios and on locations across the LA metro area.
Nice to Have Experience with WrapBook, Ramp, Skedda, Cheqroom, or similar production operations platforms.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Airtable).
Working familiarity with industry‑standard grip and electric equipment.
