The Analyst will integrate data from various sources to create analysis and reporting.*Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.****This position is hybrid located in Minnesota.*****Essential Duties*** Provide timely, actionable reporting and analytic support for assigned customer accounts/sales teams.* Works cross-functionally across the organization to fully understand business objectives and apply analytics in support of projects.* Support assigned sales teams in goal setting and performance measurement.* Partner with IT to integrate key data sources and leverage BI platforms to facilitate development of actionable reporting / analytics.* Provide timely, actionable reporting and analytic support for assigned customer accounts/sales teams. Reporting to include ad-hoc and routine reporting / analysis, as well as dashboard design / implementation, and reporting needed for customer business reviews.* Develop and maintain queries as needed to support standardized and/or ad hoc reports to meet business intelligence needs.* Ensure reporting continues to meet needs and modify (or remove) as necessary.* Maintain technical expertise and provide technical resources to other members of the department as needed.* Maintain up-to-date work instruction documentation for key deliverables.* Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.* Develop ways to deliver reports in an effective and efficient manner using latest technology. Identify MicroStrategy / Data Warehouse / Value Centric enhancements related to reporting solutions. Nothing in this job description restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time which reflects management’s assignment of essential functions.***Education/Experience Requirements**A bachelors degree required and a minimum of 3 years of experience in business analytics, with a strong preference of sales and marketing support within the pharmaceutical industry.**Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** Inquisitive, quick learner with demonstrable data analysis skills.* Strong data management skills.* Strong attention to detail, and high-quality standards is critical.* Pharmaceutical experience a plus.* Experience using pharmaceutical secondary data sources such as IMS, Wolters Kluwer, etc. preferred.* Solid proficiency using Data query and reporting tool, and Microsoft Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Knowledge of macros / Visual Basic a plus.* Experience with business software programs, including the Microsoft Office Suite, MicroStrategy or other BI tool (e.g., Cognos, Business Objects), MS Access and other applications necessary to create analyses. Minimum requirement is demonstrated ability to learn software tools quickly.* Ability to synthesize multi-sourced data and apply in analysis and reporting.* Ability to partner with internal customers and effectively manage customer expectations.* Demonstrated problem solving skills, analytical capabilities, and collaboration skills.* Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty. Must remain flexible to changing priorities.* Must work well in a team environment and independently.
