About the Role: RAN Biotech is an innovative and growing company developing solutions to address needs in cutting‑edge technologies, such as Next‑Generation Sequencing (NGS), drug discovery, single‑cell encapsulation and manipulation and point‑of‑use microbe detection. We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team and contribute to developing and executing strategies to promote RAN Biotech’s products. This position requires a deep understanding of relevant scientific concepts and strong communication skills, while managing and executing marketing campaigns and generating leads. Duties Market research and analysis: Identifying market trends, competitor analysis, and potential customer segments to inform marketing and sales strategies. Product positioning and messaging: Developing compelling narratives highlighting the unique benefits and value proposition of products. Content creation: Develop marketing materials like presentations, white papers, website content, blog posts, and social media content. Lead generation: Identifying and qualifying potential customers through various channels. Sales outreach: Contribute to prospect generation, assist with scheduling meetings and product demonstrations. Customer relationship management: Track prospect pipeline and implement appropriate metrics. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams: Working closely with scientists, engineers, and technologists. Demonstrated ability to work independently, identify needs, and coordinate efforts of cross‑functional teams. Self‑motivated, resourceful, and able to take projects to completion. Required Education and Skills BS/MS in life sciences Entry to mid‑level marketing proficiency Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media/email/web. Aptitude for developing and interpreting marketing metrics. Knowledge of the biotech industry in general and genomics in particular.
