The Role We're looking for a polished, driven Senior Sales & Business Development Professional to join our team. You'll own the full sales cycle — from first consultation through signed agreement — while building and maintaining the kind of long‑term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals. This is a high‑impact, high‑visibility role with real earning potential and room to grow. What You'll Do Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across residential and commercial markets through proactive outreach and industry partnerships Maintain and grow relationships with general contractors, builders, engineers, and homeowners to drive repeat business and referrals Develop, present, and close proposals tailored to each client's needs, and maintain a strong pipeline at every stage of the sales cycle Lead clients through on‑site walkthroughs and virtual overviews as needed, showcasing relevant technology solutions. Ensure a high‑quality customer experience from first contact through installation, including post‑sale communication and seamless handoff to our operations team Contribute market insights to leadership and provide guidance to junior sales staff What We're Looking For Current DCJS Sales licensure, or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire Proven track record in consultative or B2B sales — experience in low‑voltage technology, construction, or a related trade is a strong plus Ability to read and mark floorplans to reflect installation locations Working knowledge of low‑voltage wiring types and contractor/subcontractor relationships Excellent communication skills — you can adjust your style for a GC, an engineer, or a homeowner Service Fusion experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits We believe in transparent, straightforward compensation that rewards results. Base Salary: $65,000 annually Commission: 7% per job, earned at project completion, applied to agreed contract value (excluding builder standard line items and tax). Uncapped. Monthly Team Bonus: When the sales team collectively hits monthly revenue thresholds, a bonus pool is distributed proportionally by individual revenue contribution. Jointly closed deals are credited 50/50. Targeted Earnings: At our baseline team revenue threshold, a salesperson driving the full amount earns approximately $4,500/month in variable compensation — bringing annual OTE to approximately $119,000. Commission is uncapped, and every additional job you close increases your earnings.
