The City of Savannah 311 Action Center seeks two (2) highly qualified Customer Service Representatives who are customer-service focused and industrious. Receives incoming calls from city personnel and the general public; generates service requests; provides information and assistance. Processes voice mail messages, email requests, and after-hours requests. Communicate directly with customers, managers and staff to research and resolve difficult concerns. Serve as the first point of contact to citizens to access their local government. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent plus two (2) years of experience in customer service, billings, finance, bookkeeping; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Requirements Background investigation, including supervised drug screen, post offer/pre-employment medical screen; and verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment. Work Location: 2 E Bay St. Work Hours: 8 am -5 pm during the six (6) month probationary period. After the six (6) month probationary period has been completed, the regular hours will be 9 am - 6 pm, Monday - Friday, including some weekends.
