About the Role
As a Leasing Associate at Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in driving occupancy and delivering a high-quality resident experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, has a talent for sales and follow-up, and takes pride in helping residents find the right home. You will serve as the primary liaison for prospective residents, ensuring a seamless and professional leasing process that highlights the property’s unique lifestyle and amenities. This role is based onsite at our FLATZ 487 in Jarrell, TX. Shift: Full-time, must be available to work weekends and some evenings.
What You’ll Do
Greets and qualifies prospective residents and schedules property tours
Promotes apartment features, community amenities, and lifestyle benefits to attract new residents
Responds promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Processes applications, conducts background checks, and prepares lease documentation in line with company policies
Facilitates renewals, move‑ins, and move‑outs to support a seamless resident experience
Maintains an organized leasing pipeline using CRM and follow‑up systems
Supports resident retention efforts and executes lease renewal campaigns
Participates in marketing initiatives and community outreach to generate leads
Ensures model units and common areas are clean, well‑maintained, and tour‑ready
Assists with the planning and execution of resident events and promotional activities
Promotes and upholds workplace safety in compliance with regulations and company policy
Who You Are
1–3 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, preferably in residential property management
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Proficient in CRM platforms, leasing software, and digital tools
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Professional presentation with confident, goal‑driven closing ability
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations preferred
Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and some evenings
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast‑paced setting
Physical Abilities
Mobility to walk properties, including stairs and outdoor areas, in various weather conditions
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Occasional lifting or carrying of up to 50 pounds
Visual acuity to inspect units and common areas for cleanliness and safety
