Community Banker
The Community Banker is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients while processing various banking transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments. The position will also answer client inquiries, resolve issues, and promote the bank's products and services that best meet the client's needs. Essential functions include processing client transactions in a professional and efficient manner while following established policies and procedures, accepting payments for various financial transactions, balancing cash drawer and vault according to established procedures, maintaining the highest level of security, upholding the confidentiality of client information, promoting banking products and services to the community, answering client questions, and complying with all company or regulatory policies. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, previous banking or client service experience, excellent client service skills, capability to prioritize and execute a variety of tasks simultaneously, strong interpersonal and written communication capabilities, and capability to perform data entry utilizing banking software and Microsoft 365 products with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Working conditions include duties performed in a professional office environment, requires travel to other bank locations, availability to work on Saturdays, overtime may be required, and extended periods of standing and ability to lift fifty pounds.
