Summer Campus Tour Guide
Summer Campus Tour Guides play a key role in creating a welcoming and informative visit experience for prospective students and their families. As a representative of CSP, you will share your personal student experience, highlight campus life, and provide excellent customer service to all visitors. Tour guides represent Concordia University, both on and off campus, and they contribute to an environment that upholds the university's mission and promise. This is a great opportunity for students who enjoy connecting with others, telling their story, and showcasing what makes CSP a great place to learn and grow. Tours are offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the following times (as scheduled): 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM, 12:00PM - 1:00 PM, & 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Tours are offered on Tuesday and Thursday (as scheduled): 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM & 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Tour guides are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. Remain 15-30 minutes after each tour as needed. Tour guides are required to be present during the following Admitted Student Day events: Thursday, June 18 | 11:15 AM - 2:45 PM and Friday, August 14 | 9:45 AM - 12:15 PM. Essential Duties
Lead engaging 6090 minute walking tours for prospective students, families, and visiting groups (15-50 students) Provide tours of the nursing department and speak to program-specific highlights when applicable. Share your CSP experience and provide insight into academics, housing, and student life. Create a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment for all visitors. Answer questions and represent CSP with enthusiasm and authenticity. Stay informed on campus updates, tour routes, and admissions information. Assist with admissions events and occasional group tours. Support office operations during downtime (phones, materials, organization, etc.) Experience Required: Must be reliable, punctual, and proactive in your role. Enthusiastic, friendly, and confident communicator. Ability to speak clearly and engage an audience of diverse individuals. A passion for sharing stories and experiences with others. To be eligible to be a CSP student employee, one must: Be enrolled and registered as a CSP student (PSEO students are not eligible). Have a United States social security number.* Have proper identification as determined by Form I-9. Have declared a major at CSP. Be in good standing with CSP academic requirements and student accounts. For summer employment, priority will be given to the student employees who are enrolled and registered in summer courses. *International students who are on a F-1 Visa must obtain an United States social security number: For assistance obtaining a social security number, please contact International Student Services at iss@csp.edu.
