Seasonal Relationship Banker

The Seasonal Relationship Banker (SRB) position works within various branches across Ephrata National Bank's retail network for defined periods of time, during peak periods of the year. The SRB is a retail banking role designed to develop entry-level bankers in addition for skilled bankers that are available for seasonal work. As an SRB you will have a unique opportunity to partner with Ephrata National Bank to service our customers while working with a great team of financial service professionals. Relationship Bankers provide account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; issuing savings withdrawals; recording night and mail deposits; selling cashier's checks; answering questions in person or on telephone; referring to other bank services. The SRB position will be reimbursed for mileage related to branch travel. This position offers a limited benefits package during the defined periods of seasonal employment. Essential Functions: Embrace and execute ENB's Customer Experience banking principles. Conduct bank's routine transactions within time limits and established guidelines (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals etc) with accuracy. Assess the risk in each transaction and seek additional assistance, if necessary, in identifying possible fraudulent transactions. Understand and execute outbound customer calls by using the ENB Customer Experience banking principles. Understand and utilize the IQ system to record customer information. Project a consistent "We Care" attitude to ensure an optimal customer experience. Understand and support bank's goal, mission and purpose. Adhere and comply with all Bank policy and procedures and applicable Federal Banking Regulations. Demonstrate good judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills. Exhibit knowledge of ENB products and services. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services (credit cards, saving bonds etc.). Demonstrate the ability to resolve customers' issues, provide relevant information and seek additional assistance when necessary. Strive to meet and exceed goals outlined in performance and incentive programs. Consistently exhibit a professional demeanor with internal and external customers. Complete other duties that may be assigned. Competencies: ENB Operational and Functional Competencies Required Education and Experience: High school degree or GED Availability to work a flexible schedule that varies weekly and sometimes daily Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various branch locations within ENB's footprint Cash handling experience preferred Customer service skills Functional understanding of Windows-based applications Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented, well organized and proficient in multitasking Excellent relationship building skills Act as a self-motivated team player Ability to successfully complete all required Relationship Banker trainings and obtain completion certification Participate and successfully complete educational classes Supervisory Requirements: This position has no supervisory responsibilities Work Environment: This job operates in a professional work environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, monitors, mouse, keyboard, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, filing cabinets, calculator, and fax machines.
