Job Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, supervise, and administer a facility heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance/repair program.
Develop and supervise emergency and preventive maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Participate in on-call rotation.
Supervise inmate work crew.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma and experience in the installation or maintenance of HVAC systems, or in the operation and maintenance of HVAC mechanical and building control systems. Relevant experience may substitute the diploma on a year-for-year basis.
Five (5) years of trade experience directly related to the area of employment.
Must be EPA (Class 2) certified for refrigerant cooling.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
