The Role We are seeking a Residential Engagement Coordinator to assist with resident engagement opportunities and activities for participants in Residential and Non‑Residential programs within Hilltop's Brain Injury Services. The position assists the Resident Engagement Supervisor in organizing, promoting, and facilitating comprehensive activities and services that promote healthy, activity‑enriched lifestyles for participants utilizing seven dimensions of wellness: social, intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual, environmental, and vocational.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior aligned with Hilltop's values.

Organize and facilitate recreational activities on and off the Bacon Campus, including preparation for outings and transportation duties.

Drive residents to and from off‑site activities using handicapped‑accessible vehicles, up to and including 12‑person buses.

Communicate resident and staff needs to ensure good customer service and overall well‑being.

Apply behavior management techniques in accordance with individual resident care plans and report concerns regarding health or behavior changes.

Complete required documentation promptly, accurately, and legibly.

Assist participants with activities of daily living including toileting, walking, meal support, medication administration, and transferring.

Maintain professional boundaries with all residents while preserving dignity, confidentiality, privacy, and rights.

Maintain equipment and supplies and report damaged equipment.

Perform housekeeping duties as needed to maintain cleanliness of the fitness center and surrounding grounds.

Support fellow staff with recreational/exercise activities, including planning, facilitating, cueing, and documentation.

Assist in other roles as census and staffing needs arise.

Qualifications Education and Experience: Minimum high school or General Education Degree (GED) plus one year of related work experience, or two years of work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum age 21.

Valid Colorado Driver's License (required)

CPR Certificate / First Aid Certificate (preferred)

Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) Certification (preferred)

De‑Escalation Training (preferred)

Hilltop Transportation Certification (preferred)
