
Customer Service Representative

Primary Responsibility
Respond to inquiries, process orders, and handle complaints in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner. Other responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, scheduling, and various other clerical duties, and may also involve handling and resolving complaints. What You’ll Do
Respond to all customer inquiries and complaints concerning work-orders, shipments, inventory counts, etc. Report customer feedback to management. Act as liaison between customer and warehouse for account administration, and between customer and office for invoicing and credit changes. Generate all paperwork and information required for customer work orders, including checking on special requests, expediting orders as necessary, tracking orders, and posting inventory records. Ensure proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices. Provide clerical support, including overseeing paperwork associated with orders, maintaining corresponding files, answering phones, operating office equipment and computers, and greeting visitors. Schedule loads as required. Maintain updated reports to ensure all loads are empty and closed. Resolve refused product, over, short and damaged (OS&D) orders. Follow attendance policy, arriving on time and ready to work assigned shift. Perform other duties as required and assigned. What Experience and Education You Need
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 0-2 years of related work experience. What Could Set You Apart

Excellent communication skills. Strong problem‑solving skills. Understanding of the specific needs and requests of customers, the nature of their product, and storage and handling needs. Ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions, including getting along with co‑workers without exhibiting behavioral extremes and responding appropriately to criticism from a supervisor. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with desktop computers. Accurate typing and data entry skills. Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions. Ability to get up and down from chairs and reach or bend for several hours per day. Manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work. Normal talking, hearing, and seeing skills. May require travel by automobile and airplane for business purposes. May require visiting facility operations in temperatures at or below freezing. May carry loads related to travel and occasionally lift, carry, position, or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Use of various electronic tools. Ability to perform work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and to respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management.
