Michigan Center, MI Must be available for all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) Position Overview: The Warehouser supports safe, efficient handling of materials to ensure accurate storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This role contributes to smooth warehouse operations by following established procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The position collaborates closely with supervisors and team members to meet production and customer requirements. Primary Responsibilities: Follow all safety rules and work instructions. Perform internal product transfers using FIFO. Collect raw material samples for quality testing when required. Store and rotate inventory per procedures. Report non-conforming materials. Load and unload trucks, containers, and tankers. Assist with freight management activities. Inspect transport equipment for safe handling. Prepare and stage customer orders. Maintain accurate paperwork and daily inventory. Keep work areas clean and dispose of materials properly. Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment; report defects. Complete forklift checklists and other assigned tasks. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma. 1 year warehouse or similar experience. Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to use MS Office and ERP systems. Preferred Requirements: Forklift operation experience. Knowledge of inventory control procedures. Ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform bending, walking, and stair climbing. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $19.45/hr.
