Responsible for transports, lifts, supports, and prepares patients for treatment, and administers some therapeutic treatments under the direction of a Registered Therapist. General housekeeping duties, assists in clerical functions of therapy, especially in terms of statistics, record keeping and filing. Qualifications
Completion of on-the-job training manual to include competency testing in skills applicable to job responsibilities Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to work in stressful situations High School or GED Equivalent required within 3 months of hire Prefer experience with Windows, but must be able to use computer Physical Requirements
Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections. Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials. Able to list, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy material, supplies or patients (up to or >100 lbs.) for most of the shift with assistance. Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavyweight materials (over 100 lbs.) occasionally with assistance. Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some bending and stooping Adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule Able to work in latex burdened environment Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to operate equipment
