Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Golf Course Assistant Mechanic to join our maintenance team at Stoneybrook Golf & Country Club in Palmer Ranch, Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will assist in the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of all golf course equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities
Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing routine maintenance on golf course equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, and other machinery. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance under the supervision of the lead mechanic. Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store tools and equipment. Assist with inventory management of parts and supplies. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Support the maintenance team with additional tasks as needed to keep the golf course in excellent condition. Qualifications
Experience or training as a Golf Course Assistant Mechanic or in a similar mechanical role. Basic knowledge of small engine repair and maintenance. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Valid driver’s license preferred. How to Apply
