
Legal Assistant (In-House Counsel)

Morgan Corp. is currently searching for a Legal Assistant.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our in-house counsel team. This role requires strong administrative skills, proficiency in key software tools, and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and legal support to in-house counsel
Draft, review, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports
Manage and organize legal files, contracts, and corporate records
Assist with contract tracking, renewals, and compliance documentationCoordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain calendars
Conduct basic legal and business research as needed
Maintain document management systems and ensure proper version control
Support internal stakeholders with legal-related requests
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certification is a plus
Proven experience as a legal assistant, preferably in a corporate or in-house setting
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills
Experience with contract management systems
Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance processes
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
Fast-paced, team-oriented corporate setting
