Intern - Social Media Manager
cside, San Francisco, CA, United States
cside is laser-focused on solving web security in the AI age. We start with client-side injections, covering previously unmonitored attack surfaces in developer and user-friendly ways.
The cside team is a diverse mix of highly capable subject matter experts. We're kind, but we mean business.
About the role We're looking for a Social Media Manager Intern to join our team for a three-month internship subject to availability. You'll serve as the voice of cside across our social channels, ensuring our brand message reaches and resonates with developers, security professionals, and the broader tech community. You'll work hands‑on with our content, understand our audience, and use AI to proactively improve our social media presence.
We’ll provide you with ample access to tokens and make sure you can ship to your heart’s desire.
This role is fully in‑person, based out of our offices in central San Francisco.
What you will do
Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms like Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and others relevant to the cybersecurity and developer communities.
Monitor and participate in social media conversations, respond to comments, and build relationships with our audience and key influencers.
Proactively monitor social media trends, relevant hashtags, and industry news to keep cside's content timely and relevant.
Use AI tools to analyze social media performance, optimize content strategies, and generate creative ideas for campaigns.
Take on periodic projects as needed to support the marketing team and our overall brand strategy.
About you
You are passionate about social media, community building, and storytelling.
You have strong written communication skills and a knack for crafting engaging, concise copy.
You are proactive and able to identify trends and opportunities before they peak.
You are interested in leveraging AI to enhance content creation and analyze social media metrics.
You are available for a full‑time, three‑month internship in San Francisco.
At cside

We don't ship half‑finished projects, sell snake oil, or cut corners - out of respect for our team, our customers, and our community. We put a dent in the universe by building great products.
We believe in strong opinions, loosely held. We're passionate and strive to build the best together - because the impact of our work is all that matters.
