Graduate Assistant - MSU Online (Marketing & Recruitment Focus) To be considered for this position, submit a resume and a cover letter that details any experience with coordinating social media posts, Zoom meetings, webinars, and other general marketing and recruitment activities.

The Graduate Assistant for MSU Online will assist with marketing and recruitment for fully online undergraduate and graduate programs. Responsibilities include:

Coordinating social media posts for MSU Online with the Marketing & Communications department

Coordinating Zoom-based information sessions with program faculty and promoting those sessions

Assisting with updates to the MSU Online website and individual online program websites

Collaborating with MSU Online staff, university staff, and faculty as needed

Performing other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Social media marketing or professional posting experience

Experience configuring Zoom for meetings or webinars

Advanced technology skills, including the Microsoft Office suite and graphic design software

Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to accuracy and detail

Admitted to a Minnesota State University, Mankato graduate program by the start date

Enrolled in a minimum of six (6) graduate credits per semester during the assistantship and in good academic standing

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to successfully work in a fully remote environment

Professional, reliable, and willing to learn new skills and processes

Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment

Salary/Stipend Up to $10,000 plus tuition stipends, dependent upon availability of funds, period of appointment, and assignment. Appointments made after the tenth day of classes are not eligible for a tuition waiver.

Remote Location This GA position is fully remote. Minnesota State graduate assistants must reside within the State of Minnesota for the duration of their appointment.
