Recreation Leader and Senior Recreation Leader
Looking for an exciting part-time job that allows you to make a difference in the lives of teens in your community? The City of Los Altos currently seeking Recreation Leaders and Senior Recreation Leaders for the following programs: Teen & Pickleball! TEEN PROGRAM:
The Senior Recreation Leader reports to the Recreation Coordinator. The position is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a variety of recreation activities for teens. Typical activities include but are not limited to the following: drop-in teen hours, arts, crafts, sports, games, contests and special events. This individual must communicate well with the public, promote ongoing programs, and be able to work with fellow recreation leaders to assist in the implementation of recreational activities. They may also perform other related duties as assigned. This position will be working 15-20 hours per week. Teen Center Hours: Monday-Friday: 3:00pm to 6:00pm. PICKLEBALL PROGRAM:
Make a positive impact on our Los Altos community by joining our team as a Pickleball Recreation Leader. The City of Los Altos has a very active pickleball community and an ideal candidate should be fun, passionate, positive, and interested in helping facilitate a pickleball program. This position will be working at Egan City Gym on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:45pm to 10:00pm, however times may vary depending on attendance. Recreation Leaders also have the opportunity to work in other department areas as needed. This position is part-time, temporary working approximately 10-20 hours per week.
