Collections Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Collections Specialist to manage outstanding accounts and ensure timely payment from customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle sensitive financial conversations while maintaining positive client relationships. Key responsibilities include: Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and overdue payments Contact customers via phone, email, or written correspondence to collect payments Resolve billing issues and discrepancies in a timely manner Negotiate payment plans when necessary and follow up on commitments Maintain accurate records of all collection activities Collaborate with internal teams to address account concerns Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations Prepare reports on collection status and aging accounts Qualifications: 13 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related role Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting or CRM software High level of attention to detail and accuracy Professional, customer-focused approach Experience in a high-volume collections environment Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
