Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and reliable cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and a positive attitude. As a cashier, you will play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests by accurately handling transactions and ensuring their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections.
Accurately process customer transactions using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, including cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
Ensure all orders are entered correctly and delivered to the appropriate team members.
Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area.
Assist with packing and handing off takeout and delivery orders.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the manager when necessary.
Monitor inventory of front‑end supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and sauces, and replenish as needed.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and maintaining a clean workspace.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
Qualifications
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
