Marketing Intern at Pace University, located at 1 Pace Plaza, New York, NY. Schedule is based on class schedule and business needs. Pay rate: $17.50 per hour. Online applications accepted only.
Requirements
Freshman or Sophomore class standing
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Customer service experience or knowledge
Knowledge of social media platforms
Good to better interpersonal skills
General interest and knowledge of marketing
Knowledge of graphic design tools (plus)
Prior marketing related experience (plus)
Event planning or execution experience
Responsibilities
Assist with planning, organizing, and hosting events
Assist with Dine on Campus initiatives
Assist in social media calendar development and marketing promotions
Act as a brand representative
Conduct marketing audits
Handle general administrative tasks
Complete Marketing Boot Camp training
Survey students to collect marketing research
Create marketing materials to the required specifications
Manage signage in multiple locations
Assist with the creation of concepts, campaigns, and imagery to communicate messages to the target market
Manage website and social networking profile content
Attend meetings or other events as required
Benefits and Conditions This is a paid internship; however, it is not eligible for paid time off (PTO) or benefits such as medical, dental, or vision coverage. Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (e.g., winter and summer breaks). During such periods you may be unpaid and considered a temporary layoff. Work may be required year‑round depending on business needs.
