Job Description The Marketing Graphic Design Intern at NY Creates will work closely with our marketing and design leads and gain hands‑on experience in various aspects of marketing and graphic design, and how they work together. This internship will provide valuable insights into the design industry and help to develop skills in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating visually appealing content for print and digital media, including brochures, posters, social media graphics, and website visuals.
Support the development of branding materials such as logos, business cards, and letterheads.
Utilize design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and edit graphics.
Design and develop creative concepts for company merchandise, including apparel, promotional items, and branded accessories, ensuring alignment with the company's brand identity and marketing goals.
Collaborate with MarComm team and other departments to understand project requirements and deliverables.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
Conduct research on current design trends and best practices to inform design decisions.
Assist in preparing presentations and mockups for meetings.
Proofread and review designs for accuracy and consistency.
Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Strong creative and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.
