Salesforce Lead Developer
for a
Contract
with a client in
McLean, VA.
The ideal candidate leads the design and development of scalable Salesforce solutions, leveraging deep expertise in Apex, LWC, and advanced automation .
Rate Range:
$56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Salesforce Lead Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements and platform best practices. Develop and optimize automation using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced Flow designs to enhance system performance and user experience. Oversee and contribute to Service Cloud and Experience Cloud implementations, including case management, digital engagement, and selfservice solutions. Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure adherence to Salesforce security, performance, and CI/CD deployment guidelines. Collaborate with architects, admins, business analysts, QA, and crossfunctional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Troubleshoot production issues, perform rootcause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions while supporting ongoing DevOps and release activities. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (master's preferred). 6-10 years of handson Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, and multicloud implementations. Proven expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and advanced automation using Flows and Lightning components. Strong experience designing scalable technical solutions, performing code reviews, and working with DevOps/CICD pipelines in enterprise Salesforce environments. Pay Details:
$56.00 to $60.00 per hour
