TSR is seeking a

Structural Designer

to support structural engineering execution on complex EPC projects. This role is responsible for producing high‑quality structural design deliverables in coordination with structural engineers and multidisciplinary project teams. The Structural Designer supports engineering execution from early design through construction by developing detailed structural drawings and models for steel and concrete structures that are safe, constructible, and compliant with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities Structural Design & Drafting Develop structural drawings and models for steel and concrete structures, including buildings, pipe racks, platforms, equipment supports, and foundations. Prepare general arrangement drawings, details, sections, and bills of materials in accordance with project standards and engineering direction. Incorporate structural calculations, design criteria, and engineer markups into accurate and consistent design deliverables. Ensure drawings reflect constructability, sequencing, and coordination with other disciplines. Project Execution & Coordination Coordinate closely with structural engineers to support timely delivery of structural design packages. Interface with civil/site, piping, mechanical, and electrical design teams to resolve clashes and design interfaces. Participate in model and drawing reviews, addressing comments and incorporating revisions. Support construction activities through updates to drawings, responses to field changes, and clarification sketches as directed. Quality & Continuous Improvement Ensure structural design deliverables comply with KBR drafting standards, project requirements, and applicable codes. Perform self‑checks and participate in interdisciplinary checks to support quality design execution. Apply lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of structural design workflows and standards.

Required Qualifications Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of experience as a structural designer, preferably in an EPC or industrial project environment. Experience developing structural design deliverables for steel and concrete structures. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow engineering direction and design standards. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team‑based, multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large industrial, energy, or process facilities. Experience working through construction and providing field support on EPC projects.

Software Requirements Required Proficiency with AutoCAD for structural drafting and detailing. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Experience with MicroStation for structural drafting and detailing. Experience with e3D modeling tools. Ability to work within multidisciplinary model environments and coordinate with other disciplines.
