Duties, Responsibilities & Other KCI is seeking a Marketing Intern to join the Corporate Communications team. This entry-level role supports a wide range of internal and external communications initiatives, helping to strengthen employee engagement, brand visibility, and community impact. The Marketing Assistant will support content development, social media, event coordination, conference support, internal campaigns, and brand asset management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to‑day responsibilities, is highly organized, and is eager to grow within a collaborative, fast‑paced communications environment.
Key Responsibilities Content & Communications Assist with drafting and editing internal and external communications.
Contribute ideas that support overall social media strategy and audience engagement initiatives.
Support KCI's social media campaigns by coordinating with other CorpCom members to brainstorm ideas for creative targeted posts.
Work with the CorpCom team to monitor and respond to social media comments and direct messages in alignment with brand voice and communication guidelines.
Support multiple internal clients while maintaining clear communication and organization.
Photo & Brand Asset Management Organize, tag, and maintain the company's photo library to ensure assets are accessible and properly categorized.
Coordinate photography needs for events and projects as needed.
Assist with maintaining brand consistency across materials and platforms.
Events, Employee Initiatives & Conference Support Collaborate with team members on campaign planning and execution.
Provide logistical support including communications, participation tracking, and promotional efforts for corporate events, conferences, career fairs, and internal initiatives.
Coordinate giveaways and branded materials, including inventory tracking and distribution.
Support employee engagement campaigns and internal recognition efforts.
Assist with on‑site employee event execution as required.
Skills Required Basic photography skills.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, or similar design tools).
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Experience assisting with events or conferences.
Familiarity with content management systems or intranet platforms.
Qualifications Pursuing degrees in the following fields: Business, Marketing, Computer Sciences, Human Resources, Communications, Finance or related fields
High School diploma
Valid Driver's license
Cumulative GPA: 2.75 or higher
