Project Description
Utilize filming process to document the assembly process for passenger train coaches to facilitate future analysis and training
Coordinate with Production associates to capture established content of work on film orders as they are being produced in Lexington NC.
Manage storage of media in an organized manner
Use Adobe Premier Pro or similar software to edit film into educational videos highlighting key points of technique
Job Duties
Film company's Production associates while assembling passenger train coaches
Establish strategy for filming angles (stationery and handheld), lighting and storage strategy for media files
Edit files into approximately 2-minute educational files with on screen sub-titles and key point narration
Store and manage original media and modified media in designated locations
Duration, work hours, shift
Workday is typically 8 hours, although some overtime may be required
Workday is typically first shift, 5 am – 1:30 pm, although some 2nd shift work may be required based on work order scheduling
Project duration will be approximately 3 months; however, it may be extended if mutually agreed upon
Physical Demands
Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Frequently required to climb stairs,
Frequently required to work on elevated platforms (Height is 8ft. Fixed catwalk that is secured to the floor with railing).
Occasionally lift and move at most 40 pounds.
