Job Summary
The Graphic Design Intern will support the Marketing team by assisting with day-to-day tasks, project work, and cross-functional initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands‑on experience, professional development, and exposure to core business operations within Sellmark.
The intern will work under the guidance of a designated supervisor and collaborate with team members to contribute to meaningful projects aligned with departmental goals. Responsibilities may include research, data analysis, documentation, administrative support, and participation in team meetings or ongoing initiatives.
This position offers an opportunity to develop practical skills, gain industry knowledge, and build professional competencies in areas such as communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork. The internship program will run 12 weeks starting late May.
Essential Duties and Tasks
Shadow Senior Graphic Design to learn about brand standards and workflows
Generating Marketing Templates
Marketing Job Requests (MJR) intakes
Feedback Loop Management
Brand Standards
Create Digital Ads to support new productions and campaign themes.
Research latest Design trends and develop a presentation to suggest new industry‑related design styles.
Work on Marketing Job Requests (MJR) to accomplish design‑related requests.
Assist with DAM asset migration and organization.
Capstone presentation at the conclusion of the internship.
Perform additional duties as required to support the department's effective operation.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university program relevant to graphic design.
Strong interest in graphic design, marketing and/or outdoor hunting industry.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with additional tools relevant to the department is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Professional attitude with a high level of integrity and accountability.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
May be required to sit or stand, travel for extended periods.
Occasional bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and operating office machinery.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Primarily office‑based with exposure to outdoor conditions.
Work Schedule / Hours
Main hours are Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm in office.
Schedule may include evenings or weekends based on business needs.
