Global Marketing Manager of Innovation

The Global Marketing Manager for WWIPD is responsible for key global marketing programs and activities within the WWIPD business such as supporting the effort to increase category share in existing markets, driving key activities within each product line, acting as a liaison to regional marketing counterparts and meeting or exceeding global revenue targets.

Responsibilities

Propose and perform appropriate market research and VOC activities for innovation projects: create need statement, assess value pool/market size, prioritize value drivers and BD ability to win.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, analyze market data, VOC and VOS insights to identify areas for improvement in our product and service offerings as well as innovation opportunities.

Collaborate with the innovation team (R&D, MA etc.) to advance projects in the ideation phase through Gate A, B and C.

Serve as key marketing contact with start‑up companies for potential external partnership assessment and opportunities to accelerate the innovation velocity.

Propose line extensions and new products to better serve segment needs and optimize sales potential; collaborate with the product development team to define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market feedback and customer needs.

Support the Global Product Development System (GPDS) process as a core team member for the assigned project(s). Accountable for completion of respective marketing deliverables to ensure commercial excellence through collaborative efforts with all levels of other functional areas (R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, etc.).

Lead the product launch efforts, in collaboration with downstream and regional marketing teams. Develop a global marketing and related launch plan that defines "how to win," including market development, evidence generation, marketing communications and promotional strategy, content creation, pricing strategies, and customer and sales‑facing associate training.

Qualifications

Minimum 3‑5 years of experience with a focus in marketing and/or product/solution management with demonstrated excellence in innovation and product development.

Ability to understand technical and clinical aspects of intravenous infusion business.

Experience in highly matrixed environments, able to work with cross‑functional teams and to lead teams beyond your direct span of control.

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Customer focused and results oriented.

Refined ability to influence cross‑functional teams with authority.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects; adept in collaborating with others to meet project goals, timelines and/or deliverables; effective in organizing and prioritizing tasks to achieve established deadlines.

Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in Marketing, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field.

MBA preferred.
