Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally you may work with other product lines. Your starting hourly pay will be
$12.00 to $15.00
depending on your skills and experience. Paid training is provided both live and virtually. Hallmark part‑time employees can opt into voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, etc. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the week. Average weekly hours are between
7 and 12
per week. Availability around major holidays (including weekends) is required. Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations and inventory support. Your Role and Responsibilities
You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position includes: Day‑to‑day engagement:
Using a mobile device, restock, organize and monitor inventory; use technology for communication and record keeping; interact professionally with store staff and customers; manage the Hallmark display at assigned stores. Holiday support:
Provide additional days and extended hours during holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s & Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). On some holidays you may be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends. Department resets:
Participate in installations and tasks such as installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, resetting card sections; these are usually scheduled two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. One Team Vision:
Work with a network of merchandisers, supporting each other as needed. Physical Requirements
This position requires repeated movement and lifting up to 30 pounds (50 pounds occasionally), kneeling, squatting, walking and standing throughout the day. You may also need to climb stairs or ladders. Basic Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age. Ability to read, write and understand English. Strength to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Proficient with a digital handheld device. Wi‑Fi and internet access. Reliable transportation to and between stores.
