Marketing Data Analyst
to lead the development, execution, and optimization of data‑driven, automated marketing programs that enhance the member experience and drive growth.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Marketing, the
Marketing Data Analyst
plays a pivotal role in advancing member acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and product adoption across owned marketing channels. This role serves as both the administrator of the marketing automation platform and the primary data analyst for the marketing department, translating complex data into actionable insights that inform strategy and decision‑making.
What you will need to be successful: Marketing Automation Strategy & Execution:
Proven ability to design, develop, and optimize highly segmented and personalized marketing automation campaigns and lifecycle journeys. Strong experience building workflows, triggers, dynamic content, audience rules, and frequency caps to drive measurable results across the member lifecycle.
Audience Segmentation & Personalization:
Demonstrated expertise building and maintaining targeted audience segments using behavioral, demographic, transactional, and product data. Strong focus on data hygiene, list accuracy, deliverability, and preference management best practices.
Data Analytics & Performance Measurement:
Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to evaluate marketing performance. Ability to develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track engagement, conversions, ROI, attribution, and trends—and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
Marketing Database & Systems Management:
Experience administering a marketing database or CRM (MCIF or similar), ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Ability to partner with technology, data, and digital banking teams to strengthen integrations and expand automation capabilities across platforms.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate data and technical concepts for non‑technical audiences. Proven ability to collaborate with brand, content, digital, design, technology, and leadership teams to deliver integrated marketing initiatives.
Experience & Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, e‑Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Three or more years of experience developing and managing marketing automation programs. Three or more years of experience in data analytics and reporting (may be concurrent). Advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
