Associate Director, Global Supply Chain

Portsmouth, NH, Walkersville, MD, Vacaville, CA or Bend, OR.
The Associate Director will be the Supply Chain excellence SPOC for the assigned sites and be responsible for the logistics content area in the Site Support team. This role will drive the implementation of supply chain process standards and best practices across teams, leading and supporting improvement initiatives. This role requires extensive SAP knowledge in all facets of SAP and will assist sites remotely as well as on‑site.
Compensation and benefits: The full‑time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $128,000 – 200,000. What you will do:
Drive implementation of SC excellence principles in assigned sites, standardize and harmonize processes.
Support sites with process and technical issues, including liaising with IT.
Assess Supply Chain Processes across Sites and Platforms.
Through assessments and discussions, define gap analysis, develop action plan, and help to implement.
Support the SC Certification program in order to get sites certified.
Help address audit findings and observations.
Write SOPs/WI – roll‑out and train employees.
Lead continuous improvement projects to improve SC maturity.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree with technical background, or equivalent experience; preferred area of study life sciences or chemistry. Masters/APICS CPIM professional standards preferred.
Substantial experience in supply chain management, including experience in multiple Supply Chain site functions with a strong focus on planning and logistics processes.
Subject matter expert for logistics and execution.
Ability to establish and track project delivery; proven experience with handling multiple global and complex projects simultaneously.
Ability to identify and resolve conflicts.
Good communication and presentation skills; ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Proven ability to lead up and influence and coach people at all hierarchy levels.
Ideally, manufacturing or technical experience demonstrating a self‑starting and hands‑on quality mindset.
Excellent communication skills to lead and support empowered employees and leaders in a multi‑cultural team environment.
