Job Overview
The Investigator Support Assistant supports investigator sites through effective communication, managing phone interactions, resolving accession holds in coordination with internal teams, and delivering results via phone or fax. Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. This role may be performed remotely or on‑site subject to business requirements and management discretion. Responsibilities
Prioritize patient safety in all daily operations. Promptly elevate any patient safety concerns for resolution. Support site communication workflow: notify investigator sites, sponsors and affiliates of lab results, sponsor‑designated flags and test cancellations per the Statement of Work. Respond to project‑related inquiries from sites and sponsors via phone and email. Serve as liaison between internal teams and external clients. Monitor and resolve accession holds, escalating delays to Supervisor and Project Manager. Update databases with relevant information and communicate additional testing needs. Investigate and respond to project‑related inquiries. Document service failures and collaborate with global teams for resolution, escalating unresolved issues to management. Review SOPs and related documents in a timely manner. Mentor Site Support Assistant: guide and support, share expertise, best practices, help set realistic goals and action plans. Maintain training folders and update documentation. Complete onboarding and all mandatory corporate and departmental training. Attend required meetings and participate in ongoing training related to process and system updates. Qualifications
Fluency in English and Portuguese. Ability to work the 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST shift, Tuesday to Saturday. Ability to work every Saturday. Strong job tenure: at least 1 year in each role, preferably no more than 3 jobs in 5 years. Working Conditions
May work remotely or on site. Tasks involve prolonged use of a terminal. Work on multiple projects simultaneously requiring prioritization. Shifts may differ during training period; expected post‑training hours are 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST. May require overtime and work Saturdays or Tuesday‑Saturday. Benefits
