About The Role We are looking for a Motion Designer / Video Editor to produce exciting and polished content. These projects range from social to 360 campaigns, video shoots, live events, and more. The ideal candidate will work closely with our in-house team, utilizing their varied experience to translate into the best creative solutions. They will be responsible for ideating, designing, editing, and animating content for a range of entertainment and consumer brands.
What You’ll Do
Create polished and premium motion graphics and on‑brand video content that aligns to the creative direction of projects, spanning across a range of styles
Leverage your strong working knowledge of the Adobe CC and sound editing programs (e.g. Premiere & Logic) and proficiency using After Effects to create motion graphics, dynamic text and interstitials
Help mentor Jr. Video Editors / Motion Designers on the team
Understand the unique voice and tone of a campaign, and translate into applicable visuals
Cross‑collaborate with Ralph's production, social, and 360 teams to create high‑caliber, original, and on‑brand content
Effectively manage more than one project at a time while staying calm in high‑pressure situations
Take ownership of your creative output, and show the initiative to pitch new ideas, and be an active brainstorming partner
Discover and employ innovative and forward‑thinking solutions to enhance assets
Weigh in as an equal stakeholder throughout the creative process to assist in developing and refining assets
Adapt to evolving responsibilities and take on additional tasks as required
About You
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience; 3+ years proven working experience as a video editor / motion graphics designer; preferably at a creative agency
Have an excellent eye for composition, timing, typography, color grading, and storytelling. Must show impeccable attention to detail and have an ability to maintain quality of output.
Strong understanding of Adobe CC, sound editing programs (e.g. Premiere & Logic), and After Effects or other visual design and wire‑framing tools
Demonstrable motion graphic design / editing skills with a strong portfolio
Incorporate feedback and take / give direction well
Enjoys mentoring junior creatives on the team
Excellent communication, problem solving, and time management skills
