About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Diligence Analyst/Coordinator to manage and review all show‑related diligence for a slate of non‑scripted productions. This role is critical for ensuring compliance and mitigating business and reputational risk across multiple fast‑paced projects. The ideal candidate possesses excellent judgment, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively manage up while meeting tight deadlines. This role is based in Stamford, CT and reports to the VP, Business & Legal Affairs.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the complete diligence process for all productions (cast and crew).
Handle parallel diligence streams across multiple, simultaneous development projects and productions.
Maintain and organize diligence reports and sensitive information within secure electronic filing systems; maintain and update tracking systems.
Review applicant materials against established eligibility and compliance standards and elevate any conflicts to appropriate stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal and external partners (including network partners and internal legal counsel) to determine appropriate vetting levels and initiate project setup with third‑party vendors.
Collaborate with production management to secure and manage all necessary diligence vendor engagements.
Analyze vendor‑provided background reports and present critical findings to appropriate stakeholders.
Provide regular, timely updates to relevant internal groups regarding project timelines, progress, and any critical delays.
Conduct independent research and analysis of public information sources to identify potential reputational or business risks.
Act as the primary liaison for communication with various departments and individuals regarding diligence queries and clarifications.
Evaluate and advise on potential reputational, legal, and other business risks associated with diligence findings.
Qualifications
Highly organized, excellent time management, and strong multitasking abilities.
Proven record of excellent judgment and critical thinking.
Ability to manage up and effectively navigate a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
Proficiency with Box.com, Microsoft Excel, and social media platforms.
Comfortable working in a non‑traditional, production‑centric environment.
Strong analytical and writing skills.
Highly ethical, discrete, and detail‑oriented.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
Preferred Skills & Experience
3+ years of work experience.
Experience in background checks/vetting and business risk assessment.
Demonstrated experience handling sensitive personal information while maintaining full compliance with all relevant state and federal data protection policies.
Compensation The base pay range for this role is $32.63 to $36.84 hourly. This is a non‑exempt position, and overtime may be required based on business and production needs. The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, which may include education, skills, and experience.
