The Role As the Senior Customer Marketing Manager for Data & Research Solutions, you will develop and execute customer marketing strategies to drive engagement, retention, and advocacy for our data feeds, APIs, research distribution, and AI‑ready data solutions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure our marketing efforts align with the business line’s focus on AI integration, data strategy execution, and infrastructure modernization.
Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Retention: Create and implement marketing programs to drive adoption and retention of data feeds, APIs, and AI‑ready solutions. Develop campaigns that address customer needs in AI‑driven workflows and modern data integrations.
Advocacy & Success Stories: Manage customer advocacy programs, including case studies and testimonials, to showcase the value of our data and research solutions. Partner with sales and customer success teams to identify and amplify customer success stories.
Content & Campaign Development: Collaborate with product marketing, instructional design, and customer success specialists to create educational resources, webinars, and thought leadership content tailored to data and research customers. Develop targeted campaigns to highlight the benefits of AI integration and infrastructure modernization.
Go‑to‑Market Support: Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Product Enablement to drive GTM motions for our Essentials and Research Feeds products, as well as ad‑hoc GTM initiatives categorized as “Communications Only.” Develop and deliver client‑facing resources and communications to support successful launches and updates.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product marketing, customer success, and product teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and customer feedback. Partner with marketing analytics and platform data and insights to measure campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Insights & Feedback: Leverage customer insights and data to inform marketing strategies and product development to improve customer experience. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for their needs and preferences.
Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer retention rates, Net Promoter Score (NPS), reviews and feedback, product usage. Use data‑driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and demonstrate impact.
Qualifications
3-5 years experience in a customer‑centric role
Knowledgeable about the activities of Customer Success teams is a critical requirement
Broad understanding of Morningstar’s data, methodology and products is preferred
Strong ability to work collaboratively and drive actions with other functional areas
Experience using Eloqua preferred
