Position Summary
Paid Leave Oregon Deputy Director (Business Operations Manager 3) – Make a meaningful difference in the lives of Oregon families by guiding the heart of the Paid Leave Oregon program. In this role, you’ll connect with teams, partners, and communities to strengthen a service that deeply impacts people during life’s most important and challenging moments.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic and visionary leadership within the Paid Leave Oregon division, supervising and supporting all managers and non‑management employees and giving ongoing guidance and operational oversight for Paid Leave.
Oversee business areas such as Benefits, Customer Care & Outreach, and Program Support; report to and work closely with the director of Paid Leave to provide strategic leadership for daily operations and ongoing support for all employees within the division.
Collaborate with different areas of the Oregon Employment Department and with external partners to successfully lead the program.
Carry out the Agency’s affirmative action, diversity, equity, and inclusion goals and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Seven years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience; or four years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Candidates must demonstrate access to broadband internet, have a private workspace, and maintain good standing (i.e., no performance or attendance issues).
