We are actively seeking a Junior Associate – Corporate & Product Comms to join our Marketing Communications practice. The Junior Associate serves in a general project manager role with intense focus on daily account management and the development of project deliverables. The Junior Associate is responsible for behind‑the‑scenes account management and strategic intelligence gathering, including media monitoring and reporting, and producing comprehensive audits with compelling insights to drive strategy. The Junior Associate also works closely with the account and specialist teams on the production and presentation of a range of communication materials including press releases, talking points, key message documents, strategy memos and presentations.

Primary Responsibilities

Build an understanding of client‑relevant industry trends

Support day‑to‑day execution of client projects – conduct research, draft certain client deliverables and provide operational support to teams

Build media lists, support the distribution and development of media pitches and begin to form relationships with key stakeholders and media outlets

Monitor media coverage and social discussion of clients and priority health issues

Manage reporting and tracking documents across accounts and various workstreams

Demonstrate an understanding of our diversity, equity and inclusion vision and demonstrate consciously inclusive behaviors in interactions with others

Proactively seek feedback and address areas of development as identified by team members and manager – and provide constructive and honest feedback to others

Serve as an active member of the MBH agency team, living our core values and serving as a positive role model for others

Experience

0–1 years of experience in a communications or marketing setting with specific experience in pharmaceutical/biotech, or associated academic background

Excellent research and writing skills

Strategic and creative thinker

Passion for understanding or demonstrated interest in pharma and biotech issues and trends

Exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative style and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Positive, energetic attitude; enthusiasm and dedication to exceptional work products

Experience with digital and social media tactics is preferred
