Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 per year
Job Details We are looking for an experienced Sr. Tax Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting and a keen eye for detail. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of tax laws and regulations, and the ability to effectively communicate complex tax information to a variety of stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Prepare and file corporate state and local income tax returns
Analyze and document tax positions in accordance with ASC 740
Assist with the tax provision process
Assist with tax planning and research projects, including the implementation of tax strategies to minimize tax liability
Conduct reviews of tax-related accounts and lead the resolution of tax discrepancies
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
Keep up‑to‑date with current tax practices and changes in tax law
Assist in tax audits and respond to tax notices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in tax accounting
In-depth knowledge of state and local laws and regulations
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data
