Job Title:
Campaign Services Director
Location:
SW Portland metro area, with hybrid work opportunities.
Compensation:
$6,000–$7,000 per month DOE; full health insurance benefits; PTO; cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement.
Hours:
Full‑time

Duration:
2026 Election Cycle
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic planning and advising for candidate campaigns, partnering with consultants and House Caucus Leadership.
Collaborate with candidates, consultants, and campaign teams to develop tailored campaign plans covering field, fundraising, and community outreach.
Recruit, train, and manage campaign staff statewide.
Track and analyze campaign progress, produce reports for the Executive Director and House Leadership.
Lead training sessions for candidates and campaign teams on voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and best practices.
Create and approve voter contact scripts; evaluate field data to guide strategy.
Assist candidates in developing donor programs, managing call time, and budgeting/cash flow.
Organize fundraising events with incumbent legislators.
Analyze resource needs across districts.
Monitor opposition activity and connect House Leadership with candidates.
Required Qualifications
Strong judgment, time management, and organizational skills.
At least one cycle of campaign management experience at the state legislative level or higher.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Mastery of campaign tools such as VAN.
Innovative, collaborative, and able to work in high‑intensity environments.
Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends near Election Day.
Reliable computer (working laptop) and transportation with a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
Experience with NGP‑VAN and Warchest.
Knowledge of ORESTAR and Oregon campaign finance.
Knowledge of Oregon advocacy groups and elected officials.
Past staff management experience.
