
Sr Payments Advisor, Treasury Management Sales

Overview
This hybrid role expects regular on-site work in the company office while also allowing remote work.
Responsibilities In this role you will understand portfolio companies' business models and strategically position SVB's solutions. You are responsible for retaining and driving revenue growth in your assigned markets by providing client-focused solutions to our clients' challenges. You'll collaborate with external and internal partners to build scalable solutions for clients and prospects, with a focus on their Payments and Deposit needs. The ability to partner with FCB colleagues is critical to help drive client‑friendly cross‑sell efforts and enhance client relationships. This role requires a leader with vision in the Payments space. By providing relevant insight, you'll become a trusted advisor for your clients.

Sell the full suite of SVB's payments products and services with a focus on technology‑forward payment solutions.
Assess customer needs and recommend effective strategies; negotiate pricing to optimize profitability; and provide market‑competitive solutions.
Review client portfolios to determine gaps in cash management products or opportunities to expand existing relationships. Be recognized as a trusted advisor in payment products and services, staying current with emerging technologies.
Establish and maintain a high level of client satisfaction across your assigned portfolio.
Develop sales strategies to meet sales goals and product penetration goals.
Partner with senior Managers in the Commercial Bank to achieve cross‑sell goals.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience.

Ability to manage the evolving landscape of the Payment industry. Technology drives rapid change; the team must adapt quickly to maintain SVB market leadership.
Ability to work and think independently and strategically. Strong organizational and time‑management skills are required. Multi‑tasking and prioritization skills are critical to monitor and engage with multiple projects and colleagues alongside the portfolio of clients.
Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to download and sort information, analyze data, and present ideas simply and effectively.
Compensation & Benefits Operator experience in the Payment space is required to help improve SVB's client understanding.
If hired in NY or MA, the base pay is generally between $145,800 and $194,400. If hired in NC or AZ, the base pay is generally between $121,500 and $162,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non‑discriminatory factors.
