
Business Development Manager, OEM (East Coast)

About the Opportunity
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for increasing OEM and B2B sales of all QIAGEN products through development of new opportunities and growing existing accounts via share of wallet. BDM will work closely with project management, SAMs and customer service in both the US and global markets to drive opportunities to close. The role requires comfort selling to small start‑up accounts and large Fortune 50 accounts, managing long sales cycles, overseeing multiple complex opportunities, and having extensive knowledge of NGS and PCR workflows. Your Profile
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree, with a Master’s or equivalent preferred. At least 5 years of OEM and/or B2B selling experience. Proven sales record and achievements with a wide range of customers. Knowledge of QIAGEN products preferred and extensive knowledge of NGS and molecular biology techniques. Business development manager must ensure forecast accuracy and manage pipeline. 50 %+ travel, including overnight trips. Independent worker and problem solver. Territory: Ideally based in the East Coast. What We Offer

Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job‑related factors.
