Then, joining the Passionately Pets Team may be the right job for you! Passionately Pets, a local In-Home Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Company, is hiring exceptional dog walkers to join our team. This position is fun and rewarding as you get to enjoy the outdoors, get exercise and be loved by amazing local dogs, cats and other companion animals. Responsibilities
Enter the homes of clients and visit with their pets for varying lengths of time (usually 15 – 30 minutes each) Walk pets as requested Feed pets as requested Check that pets have ample, clean water supply and refill as necessary Patrol homes for accidents or damage caused by pets in the absence of their owners Clean any accidents or damage discovered in homes of our clients Communicate with Management Qualifications and Requirements
Northern VA residence within 3 miles of 22301 is preferred Must be available for a minimum of 2 hours between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday Must have your own reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role Must have your own reliable smartphone with internet access and data plan Must be extremely detail oriented Able to follow detailed instructions Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable Must be timely and punctual Must be able to self-manage Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be compassionate about animals Must feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animals Must be willing to walk and drive in all weather conditions Must be able to make at least a 6-month commitment; longer is preferred Must be able to pass a criminal background check Compensation and Schedule
Stay active in the outdoors with a flexible schedule. Compensation is $24–$28/hour plus tips, paid on a per-visit basis. Additional Information
