The Opportunity Black & Veatch is seeking an exceptional professional to join our Infrastructure Advisory organization as a Senior Consultant to deliver strategic asset management projects for clients. The Infrastructure Advisory team focuses on the lifecycle management of assets and is aligned with Black & Veatch’s purpose, Building a World of Difference.
Responsibilities
Deliver innovative solutions addressing client issues such as aging infrastructure, asset investments optimization, data management improvements, decision making enhancement, and organizational capability development.
Work across multiple industries including water and wastewater utilities, electric utilities, gas utilities, and oil & gas.
Grow skills, expand professional network, and shape a career path aligned with aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop strategies and scopes of work with project oversight for:
Asset management assessments (including ISO 55001) and Strategic Asset Management Plans
Asset management program development and implementation
Asset investment planning, business case evaluation, and capital prioritization
Asset management plan development
Risk and resilience assessments
Serve as project manager or subject matter expert on asset management projects locally and nationally
Provide asset management technical subject matter expertise and recommend client solutions
Perform data analysis, calculations, and develop technical reports
Lead client meetings and workshops, develop presentations, and communicate effectively with clients
Support business development activities and lead the development of scopes, schedules and budgets
Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
7+ years experience in a business/consulting environment
Preferred: Master’s degree
IAM Certification
Knowledge of a complete engagement lifecycle
Developing business development capability
Advanced technical or industry knowledge
Knowledge in two or more solution areas
Advanced knowledge in one or more aspects of consulting processes
Relational skills, collaboration, and teamwork
Ability to lead operations in an engagement environment
Ability to operate multiple software packages and strong PC literacy
Strong consulting, communication, and presentation skills
Work Environment and Schedule Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days, based on manager discretion, job performance, and assignments.
Salary and Benefits Salary plan: CST: Consulting. Job grade: 017.
