We are looking for an Ag District Sales Manager to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Boise, Idaho or Spokane, WA or Tri-Cities, WA.

Managing sales, people development and customer engagement targets within your geography.

Managing a team of sales professionals, leading your team in translating and deploying the national marketing strategy/messages into sales execution plans for their local area(s), while acting as an advocate for BASF & the agriculture industry.

Developing strong and successful business relationships as you align with key customers in your geography as an additional point of having a direct relationship with top 30+ influencers/customers in your geography.

Contributing to short/long term strategy development regarding sales planning, execution, customer segmentation and people development for the West Region Leadership Team. You will be expected to travel ~50-70% of the time primarily within the District with Direct Reports and customers.

Promoting staff engagement, cultural values and embracing the use of data beyond sales figures as key characteristics of a successful field sales staff.

Establishing and cultivating a culture of high performance that seeks continuous improvement, and which embraces the need for practice & constant communication.

Motivating, coaching and recruiting the best team to achieve the maximum ROI opportunity & professional development of the assigned team. You will lead the team through effective partnerships with tech service, area sales teams, retailers and channel partners to be the growers' innovation product expert.

If you...

Have a Bachelor degree in Sales and/or Marketing.

Possess 15+ years’ experience in Sales and/or Marketing in the Agricultural industry.

Have great communication skills and the ability to develop strong, successful business relationships. Demonstrating a track record of excellent leadership, people, and interaction skills, as well as demonstrated good judgment.

Have valuable experience with selling, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Pay transparency BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $129,760 - $178,420. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
