Remote Engagement/Hybrid Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
Amplity has an immediate opportunity for a Remote Engagement/Hybrid Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. This role is primarily a virtual sales position with occasional travel for live face-to-face interactions 4‑6 times a year as needed. You will receive a base salary, bonus opportunity, auto allowance, and a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, long‑term disability, short‑term disability, 401K, paid company holidays, and generous PTO. Position Summary
The Remote Engagement Hybrid Sales Representative is responsible for engaging customers through multiple remote channels to promote brand messaging, develop and maintain relationships with targeted medical offices through relevant dialogue, and profile and manage targeted lists to provide value‑added benefits to grow product volume. The Hybrid Sales Representative will work primarily remote/virtually, but will be required to cover HCP practice territory needs that arise. Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations, influencing customers to increase product sales. Travel 4‑6 times per year regionally, covering vacant territories face‑to‑face. Make in‑person calls regionally 4‑6 times per year covering vacancies and events as needed. Promote client products via outbound and inbound telephone calls and engage assigned HCP targets in in‑depth program discussions to attain individual, territory, and company goals for sales and market share. Profile and manage targeted list of HCPs and provide value‑added benefits to grow product volume. Maintain call productivity and metrics required by the program. Create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals. Pass all product training and certifications successfully. Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers using effective selling, listening, negotiation skills, proper terminology, and approved messaging. Maintain thorough knowledge of client products and program, ensuring clear, concise, and accurate communication of program information with target audiences. Adhere to approved direction related to product promotion. Verify and complete required data entry in CRM systems, such as details of the target’s responses and any follow‑through actions. Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions. Communicate with senior sales leader, team members and Amplity regarding project progress as required. Create and maintain a positive impression with clients and customers. Fully comply with all laws, regulations, Amplity Policies, Code of Conduct, privacy and data guidelines, and relevant state and federal laws and regulations. Participate in teleconferences and live (when required) team meetings and training sessions, and represent client at national and/or local conventions when applicable. Perform special projects and assignments as directed by the manager. Prepare reports for management as needed. Other duties as needed. Required/Preferred
Bachelor’s degree required. Ability to travel within Western U.S. for live face‑to‑face HCP interactions 4‑6 times per year or as needed. Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharma, life sciences, medical, or sales. 2+ years of experience in pharma virtual sales preferred. Experience managing multiple priorities effectively required. Willingness to cover all time zones selling virtually. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong focus on providing customers with superior support and service. Strong rapport‑building and active listening skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Effective at uncovering and overcoming sales obstacles, resulting in strong sales performance. Highly engaging and collaborative in a virtual sales environment. Strong business acumen with a sense of urgency. Ability to build rapport quickly with healthcare professionals virtually to drive product utilization with appropriate patients. Strong technical skills with virtual platforms and Microsoft Office.
