Role Description
This full-time Group Account Manager role is hybrid, based in Laguna Niguel, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. The role involves managing employer group accounts, delivering exceptional client service, and acting as a primary point of contact for assigned clients. Responsibilities include coordinating employee benefits programs, assisting clients with renewals, preparing presentations, analyzing benefit plans, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Additionally, the Group Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams to provide strategic guidance and address client inquiries or concerns. Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of Employee Benefits and group insurance plans, including health, dental, vision, and ancillary products Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and deliver excellent customer service Proficiency in preparing and presenting client proposals and renewal materials Experience in project management, time management, and multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment Attention to detail and the ability to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy in documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications Ability to work independently with little supervision while collaborating effectively within a team Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) with relevant insurance certifications being a plus Prior experience in the insurance or employee benefits industry is highly desirable
