Tax Analyst – Hybrid/Remote About the Role We are seeking a

Tax Analyst

to support a growing, multi‑entity organization’s tax function. This role offers a flexible hybrid/remote schedule and exposure to a wide variety of tax areas, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to deepen their technical tax skillset while gaining visibility across the business.

The Tax Analyst will support tax planning initiatives, compliance, and reporting to help ensure accuracy, efficiency, and ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements. There is

Key Responsibilities Tax Planning & Strategy

Assist with researching tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax positions (e.g., meals & entertainment studies, R&D credits, wage credits).

Support tax calculations related to acquisitions, including complex elections (e.g., 338(h)(10)).

Research and analyze tax laws and regulations; summarize findings and recommendations for management.

Tax Compliance

Assist in the preparation of workpapers for federal, state, and local income/franchise tax returns.

Support tax audits and responses to taxing authorities.

Prepare and file sales and use tax returns.

Prepare personal property tax filings or manage outsourced property tax processes.

Manage the unclaimed property process.

Complete required U.S. Census Bureau reporting.

Tax Reporting

Assist with income tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures.

Collaborate closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting.

Additional Responsibilities

Maintain quality standards across all assignments.

Follow applicable safety and compliance guidelines.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (tax emphasis preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of relevant tax experience.

Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Ability to research and interpret IRS, federal, and state tax guidance.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

CPA or progress toward certification.
