The Global Communications team is a nimble group in Enterprise Services and Public Affairs that covers a broad scope of responsibilities, ranging from executive communications and public engagements to quarterly earnings and corporate reputation programs as well as communications that support our lines of business. The nature of the work provides a dynamic environment where members of the team serve as company spokespeople to media, drive engagement with colleagues and develop external and internal digital communications for a global workforce of more than 200,000 colleagues. Within Citi, the team works with many internal partners, including senior leadership, and regularly coordinates closely with other members of the Enterprise Services and Public Affairs team across the world.
**Job Summary** The Creative and Media Services team in Citi’s Global Communications group is seeking a versatile Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop digital creative in support of the team’s objectives. In addition to a keen eye for detail and a passion for design trends, the ideal candidate possesses excellent time management, client services and communications skills, both verbal and written, with a strong understanding of layout, typography and composition. Creative assignments will range across platforms (static and motion) supporting the firm’s corporate and business communications and major events. Candidates must be highly motivated and flexible with the ability to take initiative and collaborate cross-functionally.**Responsibilities**Create outstanding visual designs that address business, function, brand and user requirementsSupport video production with concept development and graphics packages and work with the production team to capture the vision and help bring it to life.
**Qualifications** Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia and/or Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing or related field required. A strong portfolio of work showcasing technical skills and creative edge across a range of digital channels.Minimum 5+ yrs experience in graphic design, multimedia production or related field with increased responsibility, preferably with a large and complex organization Strong visual and typographic sensibility and presentation design skillsProven experience designing unique and innovative work within the context of a brand Strong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executives. A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to carry out their work. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
